In Q1 2023 we generated more than $1.6M of deal value for our prospects.
Here is how to setup cold emails and do the same for your startup:
1/ Buy new domains
The first step is to buy 3-5 domains (buy .com only!).
Use prefixes like tryXXXX .com, getXXXX .com. That way, your main domain won't be hurt if some emails are marked as spam
2/ Redirect them to your main domain with DNS
Now that you have your domains, redirect them to your main one. People will check where the email comes from. You don't want them to see a blank page!
3/ Create 3-5 email addresses by domains
Then, create your email addresses. You can use the real name of people from your team, or some "fake ones".
Don't create more than 5 addresses/domains.
4/ Setup your DNS
There is a bunch of things to do with your DNS for them to be authenticated (#DMARC, DKIM…)
5/ Warm them up slowly
Finally, you can start sending emails, but start VERY slowly (only a couple/day) and increase this number day after day until you hit your target (30-50 emails/day)
