Getting beta users for your #startup can be super hard
Here is my method to get 100 beta users in a few weeks:
1/ Add a Landing page
Create a simple landing page (1hr should be enough)
- Show the benefits for your users
- Collect emails or pre-sale if you can
- Add some social proof if you can
Use Carrd or any #nocode to build it
2/ Launch in Communities
You don't have an audience? No problem, just leverage the audience of others like:
- Reddit
- Facebook groups
- Discord/Slack
- HackerNews
- Forums
- …
I've listed 400+ places where to post your startup.

3/ Use Social Media
- Start posting your journey on social media as soon as you start. Make friends in your niche
- Try Ads! I know it can be controversial, but you should try ads even for your beta. Just to test the water.
A positive ROI with ads is an unfair advantage!
4/ (Micro) Influencers marketing
If you started to post on Social Media, you should have identified a few known people in your space.
Reach out to them, let them test your product for free - or even pay them to talk about it!
5/ Pitch to Startup Media Sites
Post on startup directories specialized in beta-staged startups:
• @BetaList
• @betabound
• @beta_page
• @betafy
Post your startup there, you'll get some traffic and a few backlinks
6/ Try some PR
If you're ready, you can try to reach out to a journalist and pitch your solution.
Make some VERY PERSONALISED outreach.
It’s hard to get but not impossible
And that's a wrap!
